  • Mark J. Wagner Statistical data of human tragedy, in this instance, Russians during WWII:
600 hundred thousands Russian military killed in Poland.
700 thousand troops killed in Nazi camps during WWII in Poland.
27 millions Russians lost their life during WWII.
8.67 millions Russian soldiers who lost their life ( 1941-1945).
There is no indication of people who lost health, handicapped.

Russia, after WWII, as well as entire Europe became a cemetery, in nearly every square inch of land, especially on Eastern front is saturated with human blood and tears.

Please do not politicize human suffering, Russians in particular.

In my opinion, despite developments of present geopolitics, Polish government should attend Commemoration of the end of WW II in Moscow, to manifest respect, not political views, toward Russian mothers, fathers, nation.

Thank you for the gift of freeing Poland and the Europe from Nazi grave threat.

    Sincerely,
    Marek “Mark” J. Wagner

  • Mark J. Wagner The sacrifice of Russians created post WWII reality where I was raised. If not them, Russian soldiers, who fought with Nazi Germany, our world would look definitively different, and perhaps, we would not be present, and have a chance to make our own unique imprint in life, peaceful imprint, positive thoughts and interactions.

Thanks to those brave men and women, I had a chance to do many projects, explore and follow my own vision of the world, world as I see it and feel, with all my senses and being, inclusive and peaceful.

In many ways, I was molded within society in post WW II reality, as I am, and this blend of experiences include Russian involvement in WW II, as well as post war reality, Poland, USA, and nearly all cultures, and ethnic imprints, cultures, races of the world, I had an opportunity and privilege to meet oversees.

I would like to thank Russian nation, brave men and women in Russian uniforms, who came here, to Poland, to rescue civilization from grave Nazi distress.

Human is the product of times and society, and certainly, Russians made a positive impact on my life. Thank you from the bottom of my heart.
    Best Regards,
    Marek “Mark” J. Wagner
